A spear-gun cobbled together out of scrap metal, the Ahab is a popular weapon for those who can't afford gunpowder-based weapons. Using a simple pneumatic valve to drive a piston, the Ahab can reliably launch it's pointy payload a good hundred feet with enough penetration to pierce most soft targets. It's not very accurate and requires a good deal of hand pumping between shots, but it's sheer power and intimidating silhouette make it a viable option for anyone short on cash. |
